Tactical Solutions’ Pac-Lite barrels were the first lightweight
replacement barrel for the Ruger® MK™ series & 22/45™.
The light weight 6061 T6 aluminum barrel with a button rifled
1 in 16" chrome moly liner makes this the most accurate
replacement barrel available today. An adjustable rear sight
comes standard with all Pac-Lite models to allow the
shooter to adjust for their shooting style.
All Pac-Lites are also drilled and tapped for easy install of a
Tactical Solutions’ picatinny rail. Pac-Lite's are offered
threaded and non threaded as well as various lengths and
colors to fit all shooters needs and desires.

"Pac-Lites" come in 4.5" and 6" bull barrel lengths. The 4.5" is only available with a threaded end; 6" is available with a standard or threaded end. Colors available are: Matte Black, Matte OD Green, Black, Red and Blue. If you have a color in mind, but don't see it listed, we can usually get it done for a special order fee of $30.00.
"Pac-Lites" are fluted either in the anodized color, or fluted after the anodizing process, which leaves the flutes in a polished silver aluminum. The "Pac-Lite" barreled receivers utilize the original pistol's factory frame, bolt, and mainspring housing. Tactical Solutions has not only designed and machined these unique barreled receivers, but also the sights, ejectors, and even all the screws. Each "Pac-Lite" comes equipped with our unique front and rear adjustable sights and hardened stainless steel ejector.
The unique design is visually striking, and the weight reduction, together with the added balance of an assembled gun, is immediately astonishing. Most importantly, the "Pac-Lite" barreled is extremely accurate and fun to shoot.
We believe that we have found the best combination of materials, not only for tremendous weight reduction, but also to ensure superior balance, sufficient rigidity, and outstanding accuracy. The "Pac-Lite" is machined from solid aircraft 6061- T6 aluminum bar. The "Pac-Lite" is machined as one piece thus enabling the barrel to have perfect concentricity to the receiver facilitating superior accuracy.
All "Pac-Lite" Upper Receivers fit Ruger .22/45 & Ruger MK I, MK II and MK III semi-auto pistols and utilize the original Ruger frame and bolt.
The "Pac-Lite" upper receiver is the serialized portion of the gun and therefore must be sold through a Federal Fire License (FFL) dealer.
